Learn More About Norte’s Youth Bike Programs
The leaves are changing color, the air is crisp, and the days are getting shorter. It's the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the fall weather. And what better way to do that than with Norte Youth Cycling's fall programs?
Norte Youth Cycling offers a variety of fall programs for kids of all ages and abilities. Whether you have a beginner or an experienced rider, there's a program for them!
Adventure Bike Club: This program is for first through eighth graders who want to learn bike safety and have fun exploring their neighborhoods. Riders will learn how to ride their bikes confidently, navigate traffic, and fix minor bike problems. They'll also go on twice-weekly adventures, such as exploring local parks and trails.
Mountain Bike Club: Norte's Mountain Bike Club introduces elementary, middle, and high school students to the trails of northern Michigan. These after-school rides build confidence, boost courage, and empower young people to be independent. Experienced coaches lead all sessions, making the experience right for all levels of riders.
Balance Bike Club: Fall Balance Bike Club begins on September 18 to September 28 in Traverse City and Elk Rapids. Sessions are twice a week for two weeks, 30 minutes each with up to 12 fellow riders.
All of Norte Youth Cycling's fall programs are led by experienced coaches who are passionate about teaching kids to ride bikes. The programs are also affordable and open to all kids, regardless of their financial situation.
