Norte Youth Cycling is looking for coaches passionate about working with young riders and building healthy habits for life. With new initiatives and various programs in 2023, coaches have many opportunities to make an impact. So, if you're excited about getting outside, exploring your community, and working with young people, apply today to become a coach at Norte.

"There's a lot of excitement for coaches this year. For one, we've adjusted our trailhead at Timber Ridge for Mountain Bike Club," says Abby Havill, Norte Youth Cycling Program Manager. "Now it's Eastside Adventure, allowing us to curate teams better and increase the fun factor."

"We will also hold a launch party for More Girls on Bikes in the spring to welcome in a year of opportunities for women of all ages to gain confidence and community through group rides, clinics, and exciting adventures," continues Abby. "And the Norte Race Team is another opportunity for riders from fourth to twelfth grade to explore the world of racing without the intimidation factor. We're encouraging riders of all abilities who are curious about racing to join us!"

Coaches make all of these programs and initiatives successful. We're onboarding now for spring, summer, and fall programming. We offer various possibilities to suit coaches and riders with different abilities and interests. We offer paid and volunteer opportunities for each season. Our coach onboarding includes continued training and veteran coaches to ensure riders have strong coaching leadership.
