Meet a Norte Hero: Caroline Golbeck

There are a few new faces around the office these days, so we think it’s high time to make some introductions! We’re so thrilled to introduce Caroline Golbeck, our Outreach Coordinator! Caroline has hit the ground running, already organizing some exceptional Norte experiences in Elk Rapids, running our Bikes for All and Balance Bike Meet-Ups, as well as the Pride Ride with Up North Pride.

Caroline also organizes our volunteers. Want to get involved? Shoot her an email to see what’s going on!

How long have you worked at Norte? Almost 2 months!

What's your favorite part of working at Norte? This is a tough one. I haven't been around long enough to see all of our programs in action, but I've really loved being involved with our Bikes for All program on Tuesday mornings. An honorable mention goes out to all of the Norte staff dogs who make appearances at the office, too (hi Ziggy, Topo, & Lulu) 💗

Favorite place to ride a bike?  Palmer Woods!

Best book you've ever read?  The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy

Who is your biggest source of inspiration? Our coaches, kids, and riders have been a major source of inspiration for me lately. It's amazing to watch our coaches in action, and it's equally special to watch kids overcome their fears and have fun while doing it.

Best piece of advice you'd give a rider who is nervous about getting involved with Norte.

Trying new things can be scary, but everyone is rooting for you. Come ride your bike with us!
