We’re so thrilled to invite Norte riders between the ages of 8 and 18 to join us for a pre-ride of the Mud, Sweat, and Beers race course! The ride will be led by Traverse City’s professional mountain bike team, the Great Lakes Off-Road Initiative. Emma, Garrett, Kyan, and Max will be providing our riders with useful insights on nutrition, pacing strategy, and race tactics. With course guidance from course-constructors Northern Michigan Mountain Bike Association, Norte riders will be in some truly wonderful hands to put themselves in position for a fast and fun race on May 6! Stick around after the ride for some snacks and beverages so riders and parents can meet each other and get excited about the riding season ahead.
