Join Disability Network Northern Michigan, Grand Traverse County, and Norte for a free family event focused on accessible recreation activities. Learn about regional inclusive recreation agencies and grow community connections while having a fun day exploring hands-on activities together!

The Accessible Recreation Day event will be held on July 26th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Grand Traverse County Civic Center located at 1213 West Civic Center Drive in Traverse City.

Norte is excited to showcase its Bikes for All program and adaptive bike fleet of 25 bikes through adaptive bike demos. Other event vendors include Disability Network (SPIRIT Club), Grand Traverse County (Trails, Parks and Outdoor Venues), Michigan Statewide Independent Living Council (Accessible Mural), Discovery Center & Pier (TBA), TART (Multi-sensory Scavenger Hunt), Lighthouse Adaptive Sports (Bowling), and Joy 2 Ride (Wheelchair Bikes).
