Join us for Norte's biggest fundraiser of the year! Choose from 20, 55, or 90-mile ride options on the beautiful roads of Leelanau County. Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 29, 2023, and support Patrick's Heavy Riders.
Patrick Heavy started with Patrick Cotant riding 90 miles to raise awareness and critical financial support for Norte. In four years, friends joined him to help Patrick Heavy become Norte's biggest fundraiser of the year. He and his friends have raised $70,000 to help more children ride bikes and connect with their community in Northern Michigan.
Like 2022, there will be three routes to choose from:
We start at Darrow Park in Traverse City and head out to Leelanau County. Remember to bring plenty of food and water, spare tubes, and a route map. We’ll have support stops along the 55 and 90-mile routes.
If you're not interested in riding but looking to support, we're looking for volunteers to assist at sag stops, drive the rescue van, or help cook at the park. Email volunteers@norteyouthcycling.org to sign up.
